thank god i have friends like yous...

dinner with NTU gang on thursday was fun...good food at a reasonable price. more importantly juicy gossips were passed around. everyone looked the same. it seemed like we're just having a dinner after a project discussion in school.

friday played badminton with LL and Yellow. it's always nice to sweat it out you know. and i enjoyed every moment of the game because it was played in my favourite school. awesome TP. and guess who made it happen? my star lecturer NN! she booked the court for me. one neat lady she is.

after a healthy activity, came a slightly unhealthy one. went to China One to meet up with my colleagues. had 11 rounds of drinks. it has been so so long since i gone so far in terms of alcohol. haven't really let myself drink so much since poly days. and thank god i wasn't sloshed after that 11 drinks, just slightly raising my voice when i talk. it was indeed an awesome happy night out. but happiness did not last till the next day when i tossed out all those visa receipts in my jeans pocket from the night before. Fuck, no one ever told me they charge 15 bucks for one pathetic vodka redbull now. they are such thief.

super no life leh

last saturday i went out to watch mid night show with mel and ling...and the entire thing ended at 4am...afterwhich i went directly to the office because i was supposed to turn up for work at 630am!!!

sibeh sianzzzz......worked entire day until 5pm...got home and slept at 6pm...yes SIX PM!! and woke up the next day morning at 6am...and back to work again.

nabeh...it felt like i never left the office at all.

and if u realised...my entire blog talks about work now which is super duper boring. i have absolutely nothing interesting that's happening to me in my current working life. that's just so sad. ARGH!

say Perrier...

other day i told the boss: "after the private conversation we had about her wanting me to appear and behave more seriously at work...i've decided that i'm going to start appearing serious by stop eating twisties from the pantry. and i will only select "matured" and "serious" looking snacks."

the boss told me i got her all wrong! although i didn't quite understand why she said that, because i thought that was what she wanted...i've decided to go ahead with my own plans. hence now, i have a bottle of Perrier sparkling water permanently placed at a very prominent spot on my desk. cos only "matured", "serious" and "high class professionals" drink Perrier. well at least that was Perrier's initial value proposition.

apparently my efforts stopped at that bottle of sparkling...cos i'm still seen cracking lame jokes and been talking so much crap in office. one good thing is.. i have a feeling the boss has given up trying to make me "appear serious". haha.

work's been really great so far. i love my colleagues, they are so fun to be with. although one or two of them can be so disorganised with their work that you'd feel like strangling them when you have to collaborate.

well, all in all. i'm happy with where i am now! which is fantastic!
