why not just vote for the one who will upgrade for u.
i feel that its not only about the money. its the planning, coordination which the other party MIGHT not have the heart, resources and capabilities to do.

Hmm..i dun mind if they does the thinking for us if they do a good job. If left the functions alone untouched, perhaps coordination and the ideas, plus implementation may not be that good. cannot totally ignore good stuff that pple do..
though i agree opposition must exist so that they wun slack..n also act as devil's advocate..
My family doesnt pay much taxes, so the taxes collected helps to distribute income to poorer pple u noe..not all 'eaten' by govt. Lots of e taxes are saved in govt reserves, not into e pockets of officials. i agree that their pay may be a lil high though..
And dun worry, ur blog wun be punished or wat, cos its a debate.. u'll only be caught if ur toking absolute nonsense..
As for the upgradings..is it true that e opposition are really given much less budget?n if so, issit becos they nv present their case as well in parliament?
Opposition's rally always attracts a large crowd while pap's always empty...guess pple juz like to fa lao sao
