it was such a roller coaster ride coming to sis' wedding. to think i almost missed it because of work?? i'm such an ass. i had to miss the hen's night (better known as bachelorette night) as a result and i paid bloody 50 pounds for it! :( well i'm glad the mum went for it anyways.after the dinner cruise they went to watch the famous Simon Cabaret show.anyways i was lucky enough to come to Phuket in the end after so much hoo-ha and help from my managers. i boarded the plane alone on thursday morning, totally knocked out throughout the entire journey - didn't even realise it had landed in Phuket!i was taken away by the awesome view within Dusit Laguna - it's a very nice place to stay in! and it totally took my mind away from the hustle and bustle of city life.and i'm sure i made it clear that i was here for a wedding. no?!last family dinner before the wedding day...then came the most awaited moment of the trip, the chapel procession! the bro-in-law was sweating non stop whilst waiting for the bride to arrive, heh. very hamsen lah brother!the five most important man (and boys): P - the groom, G - the best man, C - dad of the groom, L and R - the ring bearers.finally the bride has arrived with the dad! the sis was really pretty that day. no one would disagree. i'm sure dad is very proud of her. :)here comes Lewis the ring bearer. he did a great job that day considering that he boycotted the chapel rehearsal the day before cos he was too busy with his Nintendo.Lewis and Reece - my bro-in-law's nephews. so cute lah!they even had their names engraved outside the chapel to prove that they were wedded here. imagine bringing your kids/grandkids to Phuket next time to show them this. awesome.after the chapel procession the guests were ferried back to the beach by boats for a sunset cocktail party before dinner startsit was a lovely evening with a romantic sunset, sand, waves...and more importantly - free flow of pina cola and long island tea!
they even brought a baby elephant to accompany the guests!~ haha.one of the highlights of the dinner was the lighting of sky lanterns. we all wished for a blessed marriage for the couple - but i'm sure my dad secretly wished to strike 4D on the coming sunday!
check out this cute little girl! she made a mess with the chocolate fondue served during dessert time. adorable or what!Sam, such a great guy. He also practices Taekwondo. haha nope we were not wrestling each other, but we were at the last dance of the night. :)and did i say free flow of champagne as well? damn nice, my favourite Moet.ahhh...time to go back again. but i felt like i could stay there forever...and not come back to the corporate world! back to reality now.... yawnz.
