hey look at me! nice right? (buay paiseh) yeah...just when all my kiasu NTU mates were busy forcing chunks of textbooks down their throats, i went to kimage to get my hair coloured and cut, trimmed my brows and watched episodes after episodes of HK drama! i spent approximately 2 hours studying with NY in NTU and another 1.5 hours swallowing my lecture notes (i managed to wash it down my throat with milo dinosaur)... i went for the exam anyway! i finished the paper half hour earlier cos i made a mistake about the duration of the exam! (i realised that it happens to me all the time)
ok lah, seriously, i think considering the fact that i do not go for lectures, did not even buy the textbook and spent more time with the tv than with my notes, i did a good job in the exam. sadly, i seem to have also fallen prey to the kiasu singaporean syndrome of wanting to get straight As, i guess it is very hard to dissociate yourself completely when you are still in the society. one thing have not changed though, i cannot become the kuai kias who have the stamina to study day and night! (which is why i think i'll not get an A this time) shit, ok, i should stop this shallow discussion right now or i will start despising myself for being such a typical singaporean. yuck.
